FUSAKY
Fusarium kyushuense lacks chlamydospores, setting it apart from closely related species such as Fusarium sporotrichioides. Transmission occurs primarily through contact with infected plant tissues and crop residues, with conidia spread facilitated by moisture, wind, rain, insects, and human activity. Although it has been isolated from corn kernels, seedborne transmission has not been confirmed. The species is also a mycotoxin producer, reported to produce both Type A and Type B trichothecenes, which can cause toxicosis in animals.
