OMV000
Oat Mosaic is soil-borne and spread by the vector Polymyxa graminis, which carries the virus into oat roots during infection. The vector’s long-lived resting spores can survive in soil for many years, making the virus persistent in infested fields. OMV is not transmitted by seed. Cool, moist soil conditions favor transmission.
